How to Learn Course
Instructional Designer and Researcher
Designed a college course for adult learners focused on the cognitive processes of learning, using current instructional design methodologies and learning science theories. Developed interactive digital lessons and an LMS to host the course, incorporating learner-centered activities to shift students' perceptions of learning.

Led a team to create an innovative learning space focused on teaching metacognition, while prototyping training resources to ensure program fidelity among facilitators. Conducted research on instructional design theories to enhance learner success, refining the project through testing and analysis. Managed weekly meetings to align the team and partners on objectives, and developed journey maps and logic models to pitch the proof of concept to stakeholders.

Head Designer and Publisher
Developed a bilingual children’s magazine aimed at helping parents teach their native language to their children, incorporating learning materials. Conducted interviews with parents, educators, and experts to identify customer pain points, compiling qualitative and quantitative analyses into a stakeholder report. Completed a market analysis, created product journey maps, and pitched a business plan and proof of concept to company executives.
